Access is by footpath only either from the road (i.e., The Ridgeway) or Chilswell Farm. Nearest postcode - OX1 5EU

Directions

From the South Hinksey Roundabout on the A34 (i.e. the junction of the A34 and the A423) turn south west onto Hinksey Hill. After 1km, where Hinksey Hill bears left into Oxford Road, turn right onto Foxcombe Road. After 1.5 kms turn right onto Berkeley Road. After 0.5 km, where Berkeley Road bears left into Jarn Way, carry straight on into Ridgeway. Shortly after Ridgeway makes a dog-leg turn to the right (just beyond Masefield Cottage) there is a bridleway to the north east. Follow this bridleway for 0.5 km to a pedestrian gate on your right. Go through the gate and head south along the fence line to the Signal-Elm enclosure.
